Wethersfield Football Thanksgiving Game

On Wednesday, November 21st at 6:00 pm, the Wethersfield High School Football team will travel to face their cross-town rivals. The Newington Indians come into the game with a record of 3-6, while the Eagles fly in to the game with a record of 6-3.

The Eagles have been hot as of late, winning their last 3 games after starting 3-3. Some of this success can be contributed to the play of senior Mitchell Quadrato and junior Connor Pace who help lead the team on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile, the Indians come into this game losers of 4 straight games.

The Eagles should be coming into this game feeling confident, and with a loud and rowdy student section that should be travelling to Newington, Wethersfield may have the edge to finish the season on a high note.

​Again, the game is on November 21st at 6:00 pm at Newington High School. Come support the football team as they wrap up a successful season against the Newington Indians. All tickets will be sold at the gate, and students and adults are both $5.00.
