The Great Meltdown
Did you know, more greenhouse gases are in our atmosphere than any time in human history?
Why? Climate Change! It is a big issue in the world and WHS wants to help change the effects of it.
What is Climate Change?
Climate Change is what melts our Glaciers because of Car exhaust and trash that we leave behind. Because society does not want to help clean up our environment, climate change changes our weather on a daily basis.
What can we do to help?
We asked WHS Seniors what they think we can do to help the effects of climate change and these are some ideas:
1. Drive an energy efficient cars
2. Recycle more
3. Put Solar Panels on your roof
4.Try walking instead of drving
5. Up cycle your old Furniture
6. Grow your own vegetables and fruits or grow a tree
7. Reduce water and energy uses
If you want to make a difference at WHS you could join the Environmental Club or be part of the Hurricane Relief Concert/Talent Show on October 12th In the WHS Auditorium. If you have any more questions or want to participate see Mr. Sand in room 112.
