Mr. John Martin is currently a teacher at Wethersfield High School and has been teaching Junior and Senior English along with Journalism for 5 years. He is known for being very enthusiastic and hyper.
When asked about Martin’s experience in teaching at the current age level now,
“Your problems are real problems and what we work on in class is relatable to your future.”
Martin believes there are three strengths when it comes to teaching; Honesty, Energy, and Interaction.
“Enough people lie to you in your life and if I do not point out your flaws I am useless.” Martin.
The hardest part about Martin’s career is that the job matters.
“I am faced with decisions every single day that a tiny mistake can hurt the students or myself.”
In comparison to Martin’s teaching, students feel comfortable going to his class, a nice warm welcome feeling rushes through you.
Although Martin tends to be really strange at sometimes where you may ask yourself does this teacher need to see a therapist? You know from the time you meet Martin that you have a safe academic landing in terms of learning new materials.
So next time you see the really hyper, tall and bald guy in the hallway don’t be scared to give him a high five or fist bump.
